The Knox Community Planning Alliance (KCPA), a volunteer-organized coalition of involved citizens and community groups advocating for improved and effective planning for future development and growth, is excited to endorse these candidates in the upcoming 2025 Knoxville City Council General Election.

A questionnaire was drafted for this race by a candidate screening committee and sent to all candidates in these 2025 city council races. Responses we received were reviewed by our Council of Advocates, who are looking for candidates that support KCPA’s advocacy of intentional and anticipated growth with coordinated infrastructure through long-term comprehensive planning, conservation concepts, and responsible land use and development practices.
